Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American actor, most famous as a star of the popular TV show 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. Since his time in university, Christopher Meloni has been fascinated by the world of acting. He went to study acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has been in TV and films, however it was his small-screen characters which gained him fame as well as an extensive following. He's been able to easily play characters from both sides of the law and grab the audience's interest. His first television project, he played a serial murderer. In later projects, he was the role of an NYPD investigator. He has been nominated multiple times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his smaller screen performances. One of his most distinctive facial traits is believed to have been the piercing blue eyes that have allowed him to portray characters who are rough and charismatic. People's magazine's 2006 list for Sexiest Men Alive included him.
